Corporate Tax Manager
We are seeking a high-performing Corporate Tax Manager to lead our tax advisory team in Galway City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
About the Role:
* Manage and develop relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, leveraging your expertise in corporate tax compliance and consultancy.
* Coordinate service delivery across departments to ensure seamless client support and achieve exceptional outcomes.
* Ensure timely corporate tax compliance, including payment and return filing, while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
* Provide strategic tax advice on business structures, transfer pricing, and profit repatriation, drawing on your deep understanding of Irish tax legislation, case law, and technical commentary.
* Contribute to integrated client service teams delivering comprehensive tax advisory work, driving business growth and enhancing client satisfaction.
* Achieve individual and team financial targets, including billing and cash collection, through effective relationship management and service delivery.
* Promote internal training initiatives, sharing your knowledge and expertise with colleagues to drive professional development and enhance overall performance.
* Support business development efforts, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive growth.
* Oversee staff development, mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their full potential and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements:
* Hold AITI qualification and a qualified accountant designation, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role.
* Demonstrate strong experience in corporate tax compliance and consultancy, particularly with large corporates.
* Show a deep understanding of Irish tax legislation, case law, and technical commentary, as well as proven ability to manage client relationships and supervise multiple assignments.
* Exhibit excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and possess strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Demonstrate a growth mindset, adaptability to evolving tax regulations, and high-level computer literacy, with proficiency in relevant systems.
