The new networked university, linked by the river Shannon, borders on almost half of Ireland's 26 counties and will provide unprecedented levels of access to higher education.We are recruiting for multiple Research roles of various disciplines available across out Athlone and Thurles campuses.The role holder will lead and manage research projects aligned with TUS's strategic priorities, developing innovative methodologies and contributing to high-impact scientific outputs. They will supervise and mentor research staff, building research capacity and excellence within the team. The role holder will foster national and international collaborations with academic, industry, and government partners to enhance the research impact and relevance. In addition, they will actively pursue external research funding opportunities and ensure the effective translation of research outcomes into societal or commercial benefits. This project will be undertaken with our industrial partner. The company specialises in providing turnkey development services to clients in the telecommunications and financial services sectors, with a strong focus on modernizing legacy systems, migrating mission-critical infrastructure to the cloud, and applying AI-driven automation.
