Job Description
Clinical Nurse Managers play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing services within our national residential centres.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing best practices in medication management, organizing clinics, providing clinical supervision to nursing teams, developing and delivering training programs, and supporting the development of policy and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and implement best practices in medication management throughout the service.
* Organize and manage clinics.
* Provide clinical supervision to nursing teams.
* Develop and deliver clinical training as required.
* Support the development of policy, protocols, and guidelines in line with best practice.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals.
* Support the development of health, intimate care, and medication plans for new admissions.
* Write up memorandums of understanding with external psychiatrists/professionals.
* Respond to clinical needs across the service.
* Monitor and address medication errors.
* Administer depot and phlebotomy as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess 5 years' experience in nursing, excellent knowledge of medication management, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills further. They will also require effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a flexible approach to work.
