HR Site Lead
I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a leading manufacturing company based in Bandon, who are seeking a HR Site Lead to take ownership of HR activities at site level. Reporting to both site leadership and the Group HR Director, this is a senior, hands-on role with real impact.
The successful candidate will be a visible presence on-site, working closely with employees, managers, and senior leadership to deliver short-term HR goals, underpin company values, and drive long-term improvements in culture, engagement, and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the HR lead on-site, partnering with managers and senior leadership.
* Be a visible, floor-based presence, actively engaging with employees and resolving issues.
* Manage employee relations, including performance, grievance, and conflict resolution.
* Lead and support change management and cultural initiatives.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development at site level.
* Monitor absence and performance trends, coaching managers as needed.
* Champion employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
* Provide reporting and insights on key HR metrics at site and group level.
* Ensure site-level practices are compliant with legislation and group HR policies.
Key Requirements
* Degree or professional qualification in HR (CIPD Level 7/8 preferred).
* 5+ years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR Generalist/HRBP/HR Manager role.
* Experience in a manufacturing or unionised environment is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
* Proven track record in employee relations and change management.
* Hands-on, approachable, and comfortable being highly visible in daily operations.
* A collaborative team player with resilience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
