Job Summary:
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and managing the daily operations of the store. Your leadership and organizational skills will ensure a high-performing team and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
* Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and store appearance to ensure a high standard of presentation.
* Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and promptness.
* Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
* Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
* Monitor and control store expenses, minimizing shrinkage and ensuring accurate cash handling.
Requirements:
* 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in retail.
* Proven leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Strong customer service orientation and ability to build customer relationships.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software is preferred.
