About the Role
We're working with a well-established global organisation. They are expanding their engineering team in Dublin and are looking for a Senior Software Developer to play a key role in designing, building, and evolving high-quality backend systems.
This is a hybrid role, offering a strong balance between collaboration in the office and flexible remote working.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET / C#
2. Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
3. Work closely with product managers, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features
4. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
5. Participate in code reviews and mentor more junior developers
6. Help modernise and improve existing systems and development practices
Tech Stack
7. Core: .NET, C#
8. APIs & Services: RESTful APIs, microservices
9. Databases: SQL Server (experience with ORM tools a plus)
10. Cloud & DevOps exposure (Azure preferred, but not essential)
11. Modern engineering practices: CI/CD, automated testing, Agile/Scrum
What We're Looking For
12. 5+ years of professional software development experience
13. Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#
14. Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale applications
15. Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices
16. Comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile environment
17. Experience in financial services or enterprise SaaS is a plus, but not required
