Practice Education Tutor Opportunity
We are seeking two suitable individuals to contribute to the ongoing development of practice placement opportunities for students and coordinate the scheduling of teaching at all practice placement sites.
* Develop the capacity and quality of the practice education programme for the MSc Human Nutrition and Dietetics programme.
* Provide academic support (including tutorials) to the MSc students while they are on placement.
* Induct any new hospital staff and refresh existing hospital staff of the requirements within the programme and the role of the practice tutor within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Head of School of Food and Nutritional Sciences.
* Contribute to the delivery of the MSc programme in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at University College Cork.
* Inspire the workforce of the future.

The Practice Education Tutor will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-quality practice placements for students, ensuring that they gain valuable experience in their chosen field. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of teaching at all practice placement sites, working closely with hospital staff and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Your Key Accountabilities:
* Programme Development: Develop and maintain relationships with practice placement sites to ensure continuity and quality of student experience.
* Student Support: Provide academic support to MSc students on placement, including tutorials and workshops to enhance their learning experience.
* Staff Induction: Induct new hospital staff and refresh existing staff on programme requirements and practice tutor roles.
