Calibration Engineer
The Calibration Engineer is responsible for actively participating in the Tier process to manage Calibrations and proactively resolve calibration issues before they impact the business priorities.
Primary activities/responsibilities:
Lead and provide on-going support to the site calibration team in resolving operational issues.
• Be an active participant within the Engineering team sharing calibration best practices.
• System owner for calibration systems CCMS Procal, responsibilities include approving of calibrations conducted and maintaining compliance within the system
• Be an active participant within the global calibration alliance team ensuring the Brinny site stays up to date in any CCMS changes and calibration best practices.
• Conducting site quality investigations because of calibration deviations, assigning, and closing actions within the quality systems as a result of such deviations.
• Leasing with Project teams and defining calibration specifications for adding new calibration loops and instruments onto the site CCMS.
• Ensure supply of high quality product through equipment availability, maximize performance of calibration equipment and identify / implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure highest Quality & Compliance standards.
• Attending daily Tier meetings and follow-up.
• Coordination of site calibration resources, including work planning and scheduling of activities, including training, upskilling, and coaching.
• Completes weekly reviews site calibration performance within site CCMS and ensures follow-up actions are completed.
• Coordination & implementation of equipment reliability and performance program.
• Responsible for representing calibration for both internal and external and external audit inspections.
