Position Overview
Marsh Ireland is seeking an ambitious, motivated and results‑driven Business Development Executive to join our Cyber team. The successful candidate will focus on the creation and identification of new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the Cyber/Specialty practice.
Responsibilities
Gain in‑depth knowledge of Marsh’s CyberTech value proposition and develop technical working knowledge of CyberTech & FINPRO products.
Actively seek and develop relationships with prospects and client contacts while maintaining oversight of the active client target/prospect list.
Develop market profiles, attend industry trade events, compose marketing materials and insights for wider circulation on social media and company marketing distribution.
Draft and deliver new‑business presentations and support colleagues in the creation and development of expanded new‑business opportunities.
Identify potential growth areas, whitespace opportunities, and newly developed cover solutions.
Review client risk assessments and identify opportunities for additional advisory, consulting and incident management services.
Work with other stakeholders to create cross‑selling opportunities and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities while collaborating with marketing, product, and operations teams.
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate leads.
Qualifications
CIP qualification.
3–5 years of minimum general insurance experience.
Full driver’s licence and access to own car/private transportation.
Eager to learn and enhance technical skills.
Self‑motivated and energized.
Ability to communicate at all levels with clients and colleagues.
Team player and works well with other stakeholders.
Standout Qualities
ACII qualification.
Proven track record of sales delivery (desirable but not essential).
Professional certifications in sales or business development advantageous.
