Senior IT Business Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team.
This role plays a critical part in the success of IT projects by facilitating effective communication between business and technical teams, managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, and supporting the timely delivery of IT solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder engagement, combined with the ability to align business objectives with IT capabilities.
* Requirements Gathering and Analysis
o Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and IT teams, to gather and document detailed business requirements.
o Execute requirement methodologies techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis to identify needs.
o Translate business needs into clear, concise functional and non-functional requirements.
o Develop use cases, process flows, wireframes, and mock-ups to illustrate requirements.
* Collaboration with Project Managers and Change Mangers
o Work closely with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
o Assist in project planning, including resource allocation, timeline estimation, and risk management.
o Support project managers in tracking project progress, identifying roadblocks, and providing risk mitigation strategies.
* Business Process Analysis and Improvement
o Analyse current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
o Work with business users and change managers to design optimised workflows supported by new IT solutions.

Formal Education Qualifications
A minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area is preferred. A Level 9 Masters in a relevant field would be advantageous (or equivalent master).
