Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance and client asset oversight function within our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operation of our finance and client asset oversight, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing daily profit and loss statements
* Reconciling trading systems with accounting systems
* Performing accounting and reporting activities throughout the month
* Validation and reconciliation of monthly results and posting of month-end adjustments
* Assisting with the implementation of current processes and integration of control enhancements
* Client asset experience in compliance with CBI Client Asset Requirements (CAR)
* Developing finance and client asset control presence in Dublin for other related businesses
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* EU or overseas Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent)
* 3+ years of Product Control / Financial Control experience
* Knowledge of daily product accounting for digital products and derivatives
* Working within a regulated environment and exposure to Sarbannes Oxley requirements
* Experience of monthly and daily routine processes for daily P&&L and regulatory risk and client asset reporting
* Solid general ledger and balance sheet experience
