A great opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer/Data Architect internally within Cpl's Data and BI Team.
The role works alongside the existing team to design and architect Azure Data Lakehouse Architecture.
Role
Design, architect and implement scalable Databricks and Azure data Lakehouse architecture using ADLS, ADF, Synapse, and Databricks.
Build and optimise end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.
Lead complex topics of data engineering, analytics, and data visualisations
Strong experience in data architecture and data engineering, high-quality and reliable data solutions.
Integrate AI and data science workloads, enabling model development, training, and deployment on Databricks.
This is individual contributor role and support to drive define Data, AI and Business Intelligence roadmap
Experience
8+ years commercial experience across Data Engineering and Architecture
Expertise with Azure
Experiences in Databricks and ADF essential
Strong in data pipeline design and development
Data Architecture design experience
