Credit and Collections Expertise Sought
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Analyst to join our team. As a key player in managing EMEA accounts receivable, you will focus on Germany and Austria, working closely with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Managing day-to-day customer contact, collections, and troubleshooting exceptions to invoices with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Delivering consistent improvement in collection results through problem-solving and proactive work.
* Collaborating with customers, sales teams, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and process improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Required
A minimum of 2 years of credit and collections experience is essential, along with knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Proficiency in SAP, ERP, and CRM software is preferred, as well as advanced Excel skills.
You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and perform tasks with minimal supervision. Bi-lingual German and English language skills are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Problem-solving and resolving customer credit risk, reasons for lateness, collection, and billing issues.
* Reporting portfolio status and utilizing systems to create reports.
* Understanding and applying credit risk concepts to reduce risk to the organization.
* Root cause analysis and solution creation for non-standard customer disputes or reasons for non-payment.
