Lead Safety Auditor Manufacturing Site Responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulations within a manufacturing facility.
This role involves conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards, prevent incidents, and promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and conduct safety audits and inspections across site facilities, production areas, warehouses, and support functions.
Assess compliance with company safety policies, regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, local regulations), and industry best practices.
Identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and environmental risks; recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Prepare clear audit reports with findings, corrective actions, and timelines for resolution.
Follow up on corrective action plans to ensure timely implementation.
Support incident investigations by identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
Provide guidance and training to employees and contractors on safety requirements and audit findings.
Collaborate with management and HSE teams to continuously improve safety programs and systems.
Monitor key safety performance indicators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on changes in safety regulations, industry standards, and emerging risks relevant to manufacturing operations.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Professional certification (e.g., OSHA Certification, NEBOSH, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO Auditor) is an advantage.
Experience in safety auditing or HSE roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, risk management, and auditing techniques.
