Mainline is growing fast and are currently looking to hire a Civils Site Supervisor to work on exciting multi-disciplinary, ESB substation and framework projects. The role presents a great opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for people who will embrace the opportunity and progress with the business as it grows.
Your new role:
You will be part of an experienced project delivery team working on substations and ESB Framework projects.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will require travel within Ireland.
* Direct and oversee a crew of workers supervising civils works from beginning to close out
* Enforce all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring workers use proper PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
* Inspect work to ensure it meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
* Allocate daily tasks to crew members, monitor their progress, and ensure work is completed on time.
* Collaborate with foremen, site engineers, and other supervisors to resolve issues and coordinate activities.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
* Maintain records of work performed, material usage, and worker attendance, and report on progress and any issues or delays to management.
* Train new team members on job duties, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications, Skills, Attributes and Experience:
* Proven hands-on experience in civil construction.
* Leadership ability in a construction environment.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Safepass
* Experience of working on ESB sites would be an advantage.
