Electronics Engineer Job Description
Role Overview
A highly skilled Electronics Engineer is required to lead the assembly, checkout and validation of next-generation functional test systems used to test implantable electronic medical devices.
Responsibilities
Assemble, validate and implement test systems and custom fixturing using detailed documentation and schematics.
Collaborate with internal and external software developers and system engineers to define, troubleshoot and improve test systems and applications.
Perform system testing, analyze results and generate reports in compliance with medical device validation standards.
Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to support system build and validation, leveraging internal tracking tools and data systems.
Prepare technical documentation and regulatory submissions following formal change control procedures.
Work cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS and Operations teams to address issues, provide feedback and support implementation of validated systems on the production floor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Hands-on experience with National Instruments hardware and test systems is essential.
Ability to assemble complex test fixtures and interpret electrical schematics.
Deep understanding of electronics and test engineering principles.
Proficient in test software platforms such as LabVIEW, C and/or C++.
System validation experience in a regulated environment is highly desirable.
Excellent data analysis and technical problem-solving capabilities.
Effective documentation and project management skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable engineering or manufacturing environment.
