We provide state-of-the-art training with tools such as Age simulation suits to gain further insight and experience in how our clients might be feeling when doing daily tasks. We also have a Geriatric patient care manikin which helps with learning patient care such as pad changes and patient moving and handling.

We provide a wide range of training for our carers from Stoma and Catheter care, Dementia and Alzheimers care, Patient moving and handling and infection and prevention control. With this training, we ensure that all of our carers are fully confident and comfortable providing the best care possible to all of our clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for carers who have started or completed QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent. They must also have a drivers license and own transport. Reliability, dedication, diligence, and trustworthiness are essential qualities for this role.

Candidates should be fluent in English both verbally and written.

We offer a competitive rate of pay - up to €19 per hour (paid fortnightly). A refer-a-friend scheme is also available (up to €500 per referral). This includes personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving and transferring, supervising medication, observing, listening and engaging with clients. Candidates must be punctual and manage time effectively. Communication with us about changes or concerns regarding client needs and care is essential.

Adherence to Health & Safety regulations is mandatory. A driver is required for this role. The schedule involves working Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Paid travel time (taxable) at €1.00 per 1 hour visit (no payment for first and last call) and fuel bonus (non-taxable) up to €175 per month are offered.
