We are currently recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Childrens Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Longford. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team providing services to children and young people with a wide range of developmental, communication, and complex needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children and families to achieve meaningful communication, feeding, and participation goals within a family-centred model of care. The Role As part of the CDNT, you will: Conduct assessments and provide intervention for children with speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties Develop and implement individualised therapy plans based on each child's needs and goals Support children with: Speech sound disorders Language delays and disorders Social communication difficulties Autism spectrum disorder Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties Work closely with families, schools, and community services to support children in their everyday environments Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members Maintain accurate clinical records and reports Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, supervision, and service development initiatives Requirements Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy CORU registration (or eligibility for registration) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Desirable Experience Experience working with children and young people Previous experience in paediatric, disability, or community-based services Experience supporting children with complex communication needs, ASD, developmental delays, or dysphagia Full driver's licence and access to a car What's on Offer?
