The business is a long-standing market entity and has experienced continuous growth over the years by providing an exceptional service and high-quality products. The business acquires products globally and creates bespoke products for a vast range of customers.
The role of Operations Manager is a varied position with the overall aim of managing day to day operations from a hands-on perspective. The successful candidate will manage a team and ensure standard operating procedures are followed effectively. Due to the supply chain focused nature of the role, the successful Operations Manager will be integral in integrating new processes when required and maintain a commitment to business improvement. You will coordinate with logistics teams, finance and manufacturing to ensure the smoothest delivery to customers. This role will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and be an influential role across the organisation.
Responsibilities
The right candidate will be a strong operations professional with experience of the following:
* Hands on experience gained within a supply chain business, ideally manufacturing
* Sales and commercial support administration experience
* Demonstrable experience of liaising with external and internal stakeholders, forging strong working relationships
* Knowledge of manufacturing SOPs advantageous
* Logistics knowledge and experience of managing goods in/out
* Advanced administrative skills, encompassing ERP/Advanced MS Excel
* Experience of supporting with planning process and driving business efficiency
