Our client was originally formed as a Fire Engineering consultancy but has recently begun building a strong MEP team and is looking to add more projects to their workload. They seek a Mechanical Engineer with the drive to progress and a willingness to add new project sectors to their portfolio.
The company has several great projects on their books, mostly in Commercial, Residential, and Industrial sectors, and is preparing to take on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Data Centre sectors.
The right candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience within an Irish or UK-based consultancy, with knowledge of the full cycle of design. Previous exposure to the stated projects will be a big advantage. Our client is ideally looking for an engineer ready to get involved with projects from the start.
You will work closely with Senior level engineers, which will be rewarding for professional progression. The company believes strongly in upskilling staff and providing opportunities for learning and progression. If chartership is a career goal, the company can assist where needed. You will also gain valuable facetime with current and future clients, which is excellent for building your name in the market.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Relevant Mechanical Engineering degree
* 3+ years’ experience within an Irish/UK-based consultancy
* Previous experience in a similar role
* A clear desire to learn and progress into a Senior Level Engineer
* Great communicator with the ability to work well within a team
