We are partnering with a leading medical device manufacturer in Mayo to support hiring an experienced
Senior R&D Engineer.
This role will focus on introducing new materials, processes and technologies, while supporting existing product platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support across product development and manufacturing teams.
Lead or support projects involving new materials, coatings and process improvements.
Prepare technical documentation in line with regulatory and design control requirements.
Develop test protocols, coordinate builds and analyse results.
Represent R&D on cross-functional teams through product commercialisation.
Requirements
5+ years' experience in R&D, Process Development or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of materials science, coatings or surface technologies.
Experience with hydrophilic coatings would be an advantage.
Knowledge of medical device design controls and regulated environments.
Strong problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
Qualifications
Degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or related discipline.
