About the Role
This leading developer is expanding its team to deliver high-quality and sustainable homes across Ireland. They have large-scale apartments and housing projects in the pipeline, with a focus on long-term growth.
Your New Challenge
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of multiple residential developments, from land acquisition through to final handover. You will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for managing all aspects of cost planning, procurement, and financial control across a portfolio of new-build housing projects.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
* Conduct tender analysis and manage subcontractor procurement and negotiation.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
* Ensure cost-control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
* Liaise with site teams, architects, engineers, and external consultants to ensure commercial objectives are met.
* Support the development of junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* You will need to have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong understanding of cost planning and financial control.
* You will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with various stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are met.
* You will be proficient in preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
* You will be able to conduct tender analysis and manage subcontractor procurement and negotiation.
* You will be able to monitor project progress and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
* You will be able to ensure cost-control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
