Our marketing team is small, busy and very hands-on. We are now hiring a senior marketer who can take full ownership of our digital engine – with a particular focus on HubSpot Marketing, paid campaigns and automation.If you live and breathe funnels, tracking, testing and improving results, you'll fit in well here.The non-negotiablesYou must be able to hit the ground running in all of the following:HubSpot Marketing (core requirement)Deep, practical experience of HubSpot Marketing Hub (not just theory).Building and maintaining email nurture journeys, workflows and automation for multiple audiences.Segmenting databases by event, sector, seniority and behaviour.Implementing and improving lead scoring, lifecycle stages and attribution.Confident use of HubSpot AI for:subject line and content optimisationsend-time optimisationA/B testing and continuous improvement of campaignsCreating dashboards and reports that clearly show what's working and what isn't.Google & Meta Ads (end-to-end campaign ownership)Planning, building and managing full campaigns (search, display, video, remarketing, Meta lead and traffic campaigns) across 14+ annual events.Creating campaign structures that can scale across multiple events and locations.Daily/weekly optimisation of bids, audiences, creatives and landing pages.Setting up and interpreting conversion tracking, pixels, GA4 events and UTM structures.Reporting in a way non-marketers can understand, clear, honest and actionable.Core tools & platformsCanva: creating and adapting on-brand assets for ads, social and email.WordPress: updating and building pages, publishing content, basic SEO best practice.Comfortable learning and using our wider stack: event platforms, social schedulers, video tools, form builders, analytics and more.If you do not already have strong, proven experience in HubSpot Marketing and Google/Meta ads, this role will not be the right fit.What you'll be doingWorking closely with the Head of Content, Marketing & Business Improvement and the wider team, you will:Own the digital performance for 14+ events – from first awareness through to registrations and post-event nurture.Build and refine multi-step email journeys for delegates, exhibitors and sponsors in HubSpot.Design and run always-on and event-specific paid campaigns across Google and Meta, aligned with event timelines and sales targets.Use HubSpot AI and platform tools to improve open rates, CTR, conversion and lead quality over time.Ensure tracking is clean and reliable across HubSpot, Google Analytics and ad platforms.Work with the content and design side of the team to make sure landing pages, emails and creatives match the campaign strategy.Create clear weekly and monthly reports on registrations, cost per lead, source breakdown and campaign performance.Help develop standard operating procedures for digital marketing so the team can scale efficiently as we grow.Collaborate with the management team to help deliver excellent events.This is a doing role as well as a thinking one.
