THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Line Manager who will support and lead a department and team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, you will ensure we serve Ireland’s shoppers a little better every day.
* Create an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
* Be responsible for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager/Deputy Manager
* Ensure team members are fully trained and validated in their roles
* Foster two-way communication and a culture of trust
* Coach and manage colleagues to meet daily priorities and customer needs
* Review reports and systems to implement improvements for customers and colleagues
* Promote a culture of zero food waste, managing date codes and food safety
* Recruit passionate colleagues committed to customer service
* Understand and deliver cleaning standards through leadership by example
* Manage stock control, warehouse layout, and routines for efficiency
* Address pricing errors, refunds, and label routines to ensure accurate charging
* Manage front-end operations to minimize customer queues
* Recognize excellent service and provide feedback for improvement
Ideal candidates for the ‘Line Manager’ role will demonstrate:

• Ability to meet objectives in a fast-paced environment
• Being a go-to person for department queries
• Influence at senior levels
• Previous retail experience in a similar role (preferred)
