We require a DeltaV Operations Engineer to support a biotech manufacturing facility for our multinational biopharma client based in Limerick. The role focuses on operational flexibility, environmental sustainability, and fast‑track delivery concepts.
The successful candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in DeltaV Automation within the Life Sciences Industry, and will work with a team of Engineers and Developers to design, enhance and support DeltaV control systems.
Key Responsibilities
Drive design and enhancement activities across DeltaV control systems and equipment in collaboration with System Integrator Engineers and Developers.
Carry out solution assessments and performance reviews to ensure smooth operation of automated systems.
Partner with project teams to support the integration of new equipment or technologies into the manufacturing workflow.
Provide training and mentorship to other engineers on site where applicable.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards including GAMP, S‑88 Batch Standard and 21 CFR Part 11.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical DCS environment using Emerson DeltaV.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with DeltaV control system design.
Prior instrumentation experience desirable.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards including GAMP, S‑88 Batch Standard and 21 CFR Part 11.
Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
