The Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical) (PE) will be responsible for the successful execution of projects and key initiatives, within budget, on time, and meeting business objective(s).The PE is accountable for all aspects of project performance including; planning and execution of project activities, managing project resources, overseeing financial performance and acting as liaison for senior management and other stakeholders.Reports to: Engineering Projects Manager or designateKey relationships: Engineering Director, EHS, Operations, Warehouse, Laboratory & QAResponsibilities:Lead and manage approved projectsDevelop business case for projects, prepare proposals and options, and gain stakeholder support and approvalManage projects through a project life cycle (initiation through close out)Prepare budgets and provide regular project status updates and cost reportsPerform detailed project planning including but not limited to schedule and resources and successfully execute cross functional projectsEnsuring regulatory compliance (GMP), fire and access compliance, EHS complianceInteraction with appointed design team, representing customer on subsequent projectsClose liaison with site personnel and managementPrepare timely project reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including reporting any potential project delays timely and provide mitigation plans to assure on-time executionContractor management.Requirements:Demonstrated success in execution of engineering projectExperience working in a GMP or regulated industry desirableExperience delivering high potency containment projectsExperience with a formal project management systemAbility to communicate and influence at all levelsQualifications:Educated to degree levelExperience in project managementMinimum 8-10 years' relevant work experienceHe/she will have superior MS office skillsIT literate and have excellent organisation, communication and influencing skillsSelf motivated, a self-starter and ambitious to grow the role as the company grows.
