Location: Carndonagh Position: Grade III Clerical Officer Hours: Full time, 9-5, 35 hours per week Pay: €*****-€***** depending on previous relevant public sector experience Contract: Month to month temporary contract Responsibilities: Provide administrative support in the department.
Manage reception duties, including handling phone calls, greeting patients, and managing appointments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both computerised and paper filing systems.
Maintain and update relevant databases and information systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.
Coordinate, schedule or support meetings, appointments or departmental events as required.
Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in using office software (MS Office, email, etc.).
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Knowledge of hospital or clinical operations is an advantage.
