The Scaled Operations organization in Meta is responsible for delivering global scaled human operations to power Meta company priorities.As part of Meta's strategic focus on integrating AI into our operational processes, this role will lead programs to transform how we operate within the Scaled Operations. This individual will be dedicated to the highest priority opportunities, identified by Scaled Operations leadership, to automate work and unlock new levels of efficiency and effectiveness. To be successful in this role, an individual will need to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, map and optimize processes, identify tooling requirements, and lead implementation and change management for their implementation.Meta is seeking a highly skilled Automation Solutions Architect to join the Scaled Operations AI Accelerator Team. This small, entrepreneurial team is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered automation solutions that transform operational processes at scale. As an Automation Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in assessing and optimizing processes, leading technical design, and driving system implementation to deliver measurable impact across Scaled Operations.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, map, and redesign internal operational workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for AI-driven automationCollaborate with process owners and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure successful automation outcomesArchitect end-to-end automation solutions, ensuring technical scalability, robustness, and compliance with Meta standardsManage complex projects, including requirements gathering, timeline management, and deliverable oversightChampion effective change management, developing and executing strategies to support employees and teams through transitions resulting from automationDrive cross-functional engagement with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver impactful solutionsCommunicate technical concepts and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesStay current with AI/ML advancements and experiment with new tools and approaches to foster innovation and continuous improvementDevelop playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices to scale successful automations across Scaled OperationsManage contract worker or vendor relationships to support technical design development and implementationTrack, analyze, and report on key metrics and business impact of automation initiatives
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical experience12+ years of experience in systems architecture and solution design8+ years of experience in process analysis or business operationsExperience with AI/ML or automation projects, including end-to-end solution deliveryExpertise in API integration and automation frameworksExperience developing technical documentation and communicating technical requirementsDemonstrated skills in program management, including managing complex projects and cross-functional deliverablesExperience supporting change management and managing stakeholder engagement
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Meta's internal tools and platforms (e.g., Vibe Coding, internal automation frameworks)Familiarity with Scaled Operations processes and FTE workflowsAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field experienceExperience developing playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices for automation at scale
