The Role / Location We are recruiting a Building Resident Manager for one of our South Dublin City locations.
This position is the primary point of contact onsite and plays a key role in tenant engagement, as well as overseeing the day-today operational matters of the development.
You will be supported by the Savills head office team, including a Tenancy Manager and a Block Property Manager.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organised, and confident, with strong customer service and people skills.
As the on-site representative of Savills and our client, you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach at all times.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience in hospitality or tenant management.
An understanding of building management is desirable but not required.
You will be expected to manage issues calmly, resolving matters on day to day basis, and balance resident needs with client expectations.
This is a full-time, on-site role (5 days a week).
Remote or hybrid working is not available .
The ideal candidate should: Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the property sector Ability to manage a high volume of activity in a calm, organised, and efficient way Strong communication skills, with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent service to residents Proactive and able to take initiative when dealing with on-site operational matters Act as the first point of contact for all on-site emergencies A dynamic, hands-on approach to all key responsibilities Always well-presented and professional Able to prepare clear, insightful reports for the client as required Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage all day-to-day operations of the development Liaise with the client, on-site staff, and residents Work with the property managers to monitor operational expenditure budgets Support the operation of the client system efficiently Act as first responder to any on-site issues within the building Conduct weekly site inspections and prepare detailed reports to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the development Conduct annual mid-tenancy inspections / check out inspections on all units Manage the performance of on-site personnel, including concierge staff Ensure operational standards align with the client's requirements Maintain health and safety practices, keeping the client informed of risks as appropriate Create newsletters and keep residents informed of upcoming events Oversee and arrange seasonal events for residents Support residents with all on-site and apartment-related requirements Orientate new residents to the development and assist with queries Familiarise residents with software, apps, and services available Support the Savills maintenance team to benefit residents Work with concierge staff to ensure a 5-star service and creating a strong community.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Skills required: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role or hospitality Strong communication and organisational skills Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Customer-focused with a commitment to excellent service Team player with strong attention to details Solution-oriented with a proactive approach Able to work independently and take initiative as well as part of a team Savills Ireland is an equal opportunity employer.
