Mechanical Supervisor (Cork) We are recruiting for a leading engineering contractor in Cork seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor.
This role focuses on overseeing mechanical installations, piping systems, and site-based teams.
It is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned professional to take a leadership role in managing high-specification projects within the pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
Core Responsibilities Site Leadership: Supervise and coordinate mechanical teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and productivity.
Installation Oversight: Manage all mechanical and piping installation activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and walkthroughs to ensure compliance with quality standards and project milestones.
Health & Safety: Champion a proactive safety culture on-site, ensuring all activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
Progress Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress, managing resources and materials to ensure delivery within the agreed timelines.
Candidate Profile & Compensation Relevant Trade Qualification (e.g., Pipefitting, Plumbing) or a Technical Diploma.
5+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman capacity.
Proven ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and manage large-scale site installations.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on problem-solving and driving project schedules.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or high-tech sectors is highly advantageous.
Compensation Salary Range: €60,000 €75,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience).
