Purpose of the Role
The Kit and Logistics Coordinator support the operational management of all kit and equipment for the Republic of Ireland international teams. This role ensures that teams receive the correct kit, equipment, and ancillary supplies for training, matches, and tournaments, while maintaining stock accuracy, overseeing transport, and supporting the smooth running of the kit room.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of the FAI kit room in line with UEFA/FIFA regulations.
* Prepare and distribute kit, equipment, and ancillary supplies for training sessions, matches, and tournaments for all international teams.
* Monitor, reconcile, and report on kit and equipment usage, ensuring stock accuracy and timely updates to management.
* Assist with transport, shipping, and logistics of kit and equipment nationally and internationally.
* Support training and development of team kit personnel.
* Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the kit room and storage areas.
* Plan and coordinate annual kit requirements in collaboration with Lead Kit and Logistics Coordinator and the International Football Operations Manager.
* Manage laundry operations for all kits, ensuring high standards and efficiency.
* Monitor stocks of laundry products, medical supplies, and other consumables, ensuring timely ordering.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.

* Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and seasonal demands.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
* Experience in operational coordination, logistics, or kit management, ideally within sport.
* Full clean Irish driving licence with the ability to drive a small van.
* Knowledge of UEFA/FIFA kit regulations and operational procedures.
Desirable:
* Experience working in football operations or with international teams.
* Familiarity with inventory management and reporting systems.

* Excellent time management and planning skills.
* Ability to form successful working relationships with stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* Ability to work independently, under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
