We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, communication and social skills who is outgoing and able to work as part of the team to liaise with staff and residents.

Role and responsibilities Provide meaningful and engaging activities for our residents based on their needs, wants and interests and promote participation in such activities Complete daily/weekly timetables of activities and the organisation of such Planning for special occasions such as birthdays and seasonal celebrations, facilitating and organising of religious services etc.
Updating the residents notice board and participating in residents' meetings with management, maintaining the activity log Get to know our residents on a personal level and create activities that fulfil their social and spiritual needs based on their individual interests Communicating with management and residents' families keeping them informed of any activities or outings and the organising of such with support Carry out group and individual sessions as is needed or expressed by staff and family Skills required Individual must be creative with strong interpersonal skills Previous experience in a residential setting desired Fluent oral and written English Qualification in arts, art therapy, social/health care will be considered Demonstrable skills in areas such as cooking, knitting, art etc Successful candidate will be subject to garda vetting Manual and patient handling certificate desirable If this sounds like you please provide your CV and cover letter via this advertisement or email Lauren on ******
