Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Maintain strict standards of hygiene at all times.
Work under the supervision of the Leader/Assistant.
Help children with homework and tidy up.
Supervise children while they are participating in activities, playing with water and sand.
Clean and care for equipment and materials used.
Ensure confidentiality at all times.
Provide a safe environment for the children attending the service.
Help prepare food for the children, wash children’s hands, and feed the children.
Dress children for weather when they are at their outdoor activities.
Prepare arts and crafts, help clean up, and assist during sleep time.
Provide suitable validated references and completed Garda Vetting and international police clearance (where necessary) prior to starting.
