Job Description

* Maintain the Mechanical Quality Management System.
* Own the quality delivery of projects, ensuring all client specifications are met by developing and executing project quality plans & ITPs.
* Lead the quality ethos for projects, promoting a "Right First Time" approach through training, toolbox talks, mock-up development, and QA initiatives.
* Manage a Quality team including Field QA, Test Pack Engineers, NDT Specialists, and Supervisors.
* Manage project databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for client handover.
* Oversee system and equipment test pack development using Project Quality Management Software.
* Liaise with clients on handover documentation and system handover schedules.
* Coordinate with construction teams regarding handover dates, walk downs, and snag list development, monitor trends, and address issues.
* Ensure installations comply with project-specific Quality Plans, ITPs, standards, and specifications.
* Manage third-party inspections and NDT contractors to meet project requirements.
* Ensure subcontractors meet QA requirements.
* Conduct regular site quality audits and participate in quality meetings, reporting on quality issues.
* Collaborate with in-house Mechanical QA/QC Leads as needed.

Skills and Requirements
* Mechanical/Quality qualification, minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of Hygienic Piping Installation, ASME codes, and Pharmaceutical Piping Systems, including P&IDs.
* Experience with orbital welding equipment and procedures.
* European Welding Inspection Qualification (minimum CSWIP 3.1); additional Quality Inspection qualifications (e.g., Paint & Coatings) are advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA database systems such as Eida; experience with Quality software is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
