Job Title:
Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to support our production planning, material supply, and inventory control operations at a leading manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our Material Planning System (MPS) and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring that materials align with production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to meet business objectives.
2. Oversee purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and intermediates.
3. Coordinate materials and purchasing activities for New Product Introductions (NPIs) and manage inventory levels, including cycle counting and KPI performance.
4. Schedule deliveries based on warehouse capacity and collaborate with transport partners to optimize logistics operations.
5. Identify areas for process improvements and develop solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain initiatives.
Requirements:
* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* APICS/IPICS/IIPMM certifications are an advantage.
* Minimum 2 years experience in production planning within manufacturing, preferably with short shelf-life products.
* Strong problem-solving skills in scheduling, logistics, and purchasing.
* Excellent planning, communication, and attention to detail.
