We are currently recruiting a Team Leader to support the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred children’s respite service in Sligo. This role involves supporting children with intellectual disability, autism, physical disabilities and complex health needs, while assisting the Respite Services Manager with the day-to-day management of the service.
This is a part time role 28-30 hours per week.
The Role
Support the delivery of a safe, high-quality, HIQA-compliant service
Lead and support staff teams across varied shifts
Manage staff rotas, supervision, training and communication
Ensure implementation and review of individual support/care plans
Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Maintain high standards of health, safety and documentation
Requirements
QQI Level 7 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Experience working in a HIQA-registered service
Proven experience in staff supervision and leadership in a similar setting
Strong understanding of person-centred practice
Full clean driving licence (minimum 2 years)
Flexibility with working hours
