Ergo, VMware POTY, are seeking a skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our Hybrid Cloud team. This person will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of Global, Enterprise, government and mid-market customers. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that infrastructure solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.

This is a hybrid role based in any of our Irish offices (Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Belfast).
Key Role Responsibilities
* Develop and design IT infrastructure solutions to support business requirements based on industry experience and best practices.
* Responsible for producing documentation such as high-level and low-level customer-facing design documents based on pre-existing Design Templates.
* Will run Design workshops for POC, Pilot and Deployment Services as well Pre-Sales solution workshops.
* Will support Pre-Sales Solution Architects in establishing solution requirements, providing technical overview/demo/poc/pilot of related technology specialisation as well as a key contributor to produce related Solution Proposal to help drive Professional Services sales
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams in the implementation or maintenance of these solutions
* Collaborate with various business units, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met
* Work with external vendors to evaluate and select the appropriate solutions for the customer.
Education, Qualifications and Skills
* Proven 5 years experience within an IT engineering role or similar
* VMware certifications strongly preferred (VCF, NSX, VSAN, vSphere).
* Additional certifications in virtualization, cloud, or networking technologies (e.g., Nutanix, AWS, Azure) are an advantage.
* Good customer facing skills essential: presenting, whiteboarding, stakeholder management, live demo and running customer discovery sessions
* A willingness to run customer workshops, consulting on customer requirements and presenting solutions to a group.
* Proven expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) design and deployment.
* Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX, vSAN, and vSphere.
* Intermediate knowledge of the VMware Aria suite.
* Good documentation skills
