Events Chef
We are looking for Events Chefs to join our team here in Cork to take on some temporary posts in many Event Spaces throughout Cork.
If you are a chef looking to pick up some extra evening work mid week or at the weekend, then this could be the perfect role to suit you.
We offer flexible shifts that can suit your schedule and needs!
You will have a dedicated consultant who will manage your schedule and will place you in roles to suit your requirements.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
To prepare food in the kitchen while maintaining a high standard of quality and cleanliness.
To prepare a variety of dishes as set out by the head chef
To be able to plate starters, mains and desserts as set out by the head chef
To adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on site.
To adhere to any SOPs set out on site.
To ensure the highest standards in stock control, portion control and quality control
Provide professional customer service when needed and respect to all other staff within the kitchen/restaurant.
Ideal Candidate
1-2 years proven track record in a professional kitchen or catering kitchen environment
All relevant food safety certificates along with manual handling
A passion for food and service
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure
Have strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
