A leading housing developer is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee large-scale housing projects in Cork City.
This role is responsible for managing site operations, subcontractors, programmes, quality, and Health & Safety to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities Oversee Health & Safety, promote a safety culture, and escalate risks as required.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, monitor progress, and advise on cost and programme.
Review design documents and participate in design team meetings.
Lead daily site meetings and manage short-term target programmes.
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate service providers, third parties, residents, and local authorities.
Manage construction team performance, development plans, and reporting.
Support continuous professional development and instil best-in-class customer service.
Requirements Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
6+ years post-qualification experience in large-scale residential construction.
Strong knowledge of building regulations and certification standards.
Commercially astute with negotiation and cost-control skills.
Excellent communication, team leadership, and organisational skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary & Benefits €75,000 €85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
