Job Summary

The Buyer Admin will provide essential administrative support to the Buying Office, with a primary focus on generating and managing reports. This role involves organizing data, creating insights, and assisting with inventory tracking and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Excel and a keen eye for detail.

The Buyer Admin role is integral to the efficiency of the Buying Office, ensuring that data-driven decisions are well-supported and that the team has the tools needed to optimize procurement and sales strategies.

This position offers a competitive salary of circa €28,000 and is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in buying and procurement within a fast-paced retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Report Generation and Analysis

o Create and maintain detailed Excel reports for sales performance, stock levels, and supplier metrics.

o Support the Procurement and Product Strategy Manager/Sales Improvement Analyst by providing accurate data insights.

2. Data Management

o Ensure all product, inventory, and procurement data is accurately entered and updated in the relevant systems.

o Assist in managing databases and trackers to ensure all data is current and accessible.

o Ensuring all stores have accurate price tickets. This will involve the creating of tickets and responding to price ticket requests promptly.

3. Administrative Support

o Assist the Buying Office with day-to-day administrative tasks, including order processing, filing, and correspondence.

o Help maintain schedules, deadlines, and key deliverables within the department.

4. Inventory Coordination

o Support tracking of stock levels across stores and flag discrepancies or reordering needs to the team.

o Assist in the preparation and distribution of purchase orders.

o Use data to create a strategic distribution plan in order to monitor and optimise tile performance.

o Replace underperformers with products to meet sales trends, customer demographics and regional demand.

5. Collaboration within the Buying Office

o Work closely with buyers and the Procurement and Product Strategy Manager/Sales Improvement Analyst to provide data and administrative support.

o Help identify underperforming products and provide insights based on sales trends and inventory data


Qualifications and Skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas is essential.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

* Good verbal and written communication skills.

* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
