Kavaleer Productions are currently hiring for Storyboard Artists to join their team.
About the Role:
This is a freelance contract and open to all applications living in Republic of Ireland and Europe. This will require a test at recruitment stage.
Start Date: 29th September 2025
The Storyboard Artists key role is to translate the script and Director's vision by creating a series of panels of images to plan the shots and ensure continuity between them.
Ideal Candidate:
* Demonstrated experience as a storyboard artist in episodic TV series
* Storyboarding experience in Storyboard Pro* (essential)
* Excellent drawing skills and be able to produce artwork in a range of styles* (essential)
* Strong storytelling ability to communicate a narrative well
* Good understanding of layout, composition, sequential drawing and editing as well as a strong understanding of framing
* Ability to work within a fast-paced series production schedule
* Excellent organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail

Kavaleer Productions was founded in 2001 and over the past 20 years have forged a position as one of Ireland's leading animation studios, having produced over a dozen TV shows for broadcasters such as BBC, Sky, Netflix and Nickelodeon. The studio launched three new shows in 2021 and is currently preparing production for "Adam Loves Adventure" starring Virtual Hug hero, Adam King.
