Junior Administrative Assistant – Audit & Assurance – Fixed Term Contract 6 months
Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant to join their Audit & Assurance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

About The Position
We are looking for a junior Administrative Assistant to join our Audit & Assurance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with immediate start. This position will support our Executive Assistant (EA) and provide general administrative help to the wider team.
It is a great opportunity for someone starting out in their career, or with some office admin experience, who wants to gain exposure to a busy professional services environment. You will receive guidance and training while developing your organisational and communication skills.
What You’ll Do
* Support the Executive Assistant with day-to-day admin tasks.
* Help with scheduling meetings, organising diaries, and setting up calls.
* Prepare documents and presentations (with support and templates).
* Assist with booking travel and accommodation.
* Help with expense claims.
* Welcome new joiners and support team events and training sessions.
* Provide general admin support across the Audit & Assurance team.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite
* Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
* A team player who is reliable and proactive.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Nice to have (but not essential):
* Experience working with scheduling, travel bookings.
* Interest in professional services or financial services.
