Service Coordinator Role
Our company is seeking a Service Coordinator to work in their service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling service and maintenance contracts with clients and company service engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling of service and maintenance contracts with clients and company service engineers
* Responsible for data entry into service scheduler
* Control of timely receipt of service engineers check sheet documentation
* Control of service contract check sheets internally and transfer of check sheets to clients
* Work with the stores department to ensure all service and calibration tools are made available for service engineers
* Maintain holiday tracker for service engineers to ensure resource availability
* Support management in the implementation of software
* Co-ordinate callouts from clients to the main office
* Maintain all service contract calibration schedules
* Report key performance indicators to contract manager
* Ability to communicate and deal effectively with clients and company personnel on a daily basis
* Self-motivated and capable of working on their own initiative
* Mechanical background would be helpful, but not essential
* Understanding of thorough follow-up process on documentation, organising, documentation controller type roles
* Able to work with a service management setup, liaising with service engineers and co-ordinating scheduled work
* Create and edit Service check sheets as and when required to ensure adherence to contract terms and all our Health and Safety requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Understanding or previous experience working in a HVAC / Refrigeration / Engineering or Construction environment would be beneficial
* Ability to plan out schedules and coordinate with the service engineering team
* Excellent PC skills and experience and proficiency using similar customer type service IT systems
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
