Health & Safety Manager – Co. Kildare | Waste & Recycling | PermanentWhat you need to knowMatrix Recruitment is recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for our client in the Waste & Recycling industry. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead H&S across multiple nationwide sites, ensuring full compliance with Irish legislation while embedding a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. This is a full-time, permanent role with regular travel required.Key ResponsibilitiesLead H&S compliance across all operations including collection, transport, recycling, and disposal activities.Drive improvements in safety performance, KPIs, audits, accident investigations, and corrective actions.Deliver mandatory H&S training including inductions, toolbox talks, and occupational health requirements.Maintain H&S systems, SOPs, risk assessments, contractor compliance, and documentation.Engage managers and teams in safety initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and strong safety culture.RequirementsMinimum 3 years' managerial H&S experience in waste, recycling, services, or manufacturing.Level 8 Degree in Health & Safety (desirable).Strong communication, reporting, and MS Office skills.Flexibility to travel nationwide and work across multiple business units.Full eligibility to work in Ireland with strong English language skills.By applying, you are giving consent for Matrix Recruitment to contact you about this job.
