About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Coordinator to cover upcoming maternity leave with potential for a full-time opportunity.

This is an exciting chance to join our busy medical practice where we prioritise patient care and teamwork.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Greeting patients, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate records and accounts.
* Providing exceptional patient service in person or on the telephone, and responding or referring inquiries.
* Triage of patient calls to assess priorities in conjunction with Medical Professionals.
* Liaison with hospitals and public health organisations.
* Effective document management and control.


Key Responsibilities

* Cash handling and reconciliation.
* Overseeing the waiting area including practice information.
* Coordination of certificate processing, prescriptions and forms.
* Optimizing patient satisfaction in relation to availability and scheduling.
* Regular review of service delivery in relation to various departments.


Requirements

* Patient-focused approach.
* Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure environment.
* Maturity and calmness under pressure.
* Varied workload management.

Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. You should have some reception experience and be available to work over four days per week, Monday to Friday.
