As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Advanced Quality Engineer.- to join our group.
What you'll do
* Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and controls for NPI and manage build records and documents.
* Support and facilitate Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) creation and maintenance.
* Facilitate Design Review process
* Support and facilitate Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) creation and maintenance
* Manage the First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),including the creation and submission of Part Submission Warrants (PSW)
* Complete measurement system analysis for inspection systems and gages to be utilised during the NPI phase
* Review and analyze samples, quality issues, and improvement actions during the NPIstage
* Support design verification / design release activities
* Conduct and analyse process capability studies in support of process developmen teams
* Support the definition and implementation of quality controls and documentation needed for the production shop floor
* Monitor process capability and oversee ongoing corrective actions as required
* Review and approve the measurement and cosmetic inspection
* Support the customer and quality system audit as required
Who you are
* Level 8 Degree in a relevant Quality/Engineering/Science related discipline
* Proven experience in a quality role within a NPI function in a regulated environment..
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background would be an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001, AS9100).
* Good knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and workunder own initiative to targets and deadlines.
* Core tool qualification would be an advantage (FMEA, APQP, Control Plan, SPC)
