Within our company's headquarters in Limerick, you will find over 70 support staff working across a variety of functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources and Logistics.The successful candidate will lead the Product Marketing & Management department as a standalone, strategic function within Wurth Ireland. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this individual will be responsible for managing a team of four product marketing professionals, focused on introducing, managing, and optimising Wurth Group products for the Irish market.This role requires a commercially driven leader who excels at analysing market needs, selecting the right products for the right markets, launching them effectively and profitably, whilst ensuring strong product governance and lifecycle management.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipLead and develop a team of Product Marketing Executives.Define and execute the product management strategy aligned with Wurth Group priorities and the Ireland commercial plan.Drive category focus across key market areasPortfolio & Category ManagementManage and optimise the full product lifecycle: selection, introduction, maintenance, performance monitoring, and retirement.Work closely with the Wurth Group to identify relevant existing products suitable for the Irish market.Own product hygiene and governance, ensuring accurate data, pricing integrity, stock control alignment, and product compliance.Work with the Key Accounts team on spurious or out of Group products when requiredMarket & Customer InsightExamine the Irish market landscape to understand customer needs, trends, competitor activity, and opportunities.Partner with Sales Marketing and Supply Chain teams to ensure product decisions drive commercial performanceProduct Promotion & LaunchesLead the introduction of Wurth Group products into the Irish market with high execution standards.Collaborate with Marketing to build effective go-to-market plans, product positioning, and sales enablement.Create regular monthly promotional activities for products to ensure market share maintenance & growthSupport the Sales organisation through product training, performance insights, and ongoing category support.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Sales Management, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure product availability, correct pricing, and profitable growth.Ensure alignment with Group strategy, systems, and processes while tailoring to the needs of the Irish market.Experience & QualificationsProven experience in Product Management, Category Management, - preferably in B2B, industrial, or technical products.Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Supply Chain or relevant area of study desirable.Experience managing and developing a team to high performance standardsStrong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering product/category growth.Excellent analytical ability grounded in data-driven decision making.Strong communication and influence skills across stakeholders.Personal AttributesCommercially minded, execution-focused, and highly organised.Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-led organisation.Hands-on, practical, and willing to dive into product detail.Location:Head Office, Limerick
