Senior Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist – CDNT
€40-€50 per hour | Contract Role | Immediate Start – Full Time
Emerald Locums are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Galway.
The Role
* Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to children with complex developmental needs.
* Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans and group therapy sessions tailored to the child’s communication needs.
* Work closely with families, teachers, SNAs, and the wider CDNT including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, school planning, and ongoing service development.
Requirements
* CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
* Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally within paediatrics or disability services.
* Previous work in a CDNT or Special School setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, teamworking, and clinical reasoning skills.
