We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager - Busbar to lead our production facility in Burnfoot, County Donegal. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing high-performance teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met or exceeded.
* Champion change management initiatives, implementing process improvements and lean practices to drive efficiency and delivery.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with overall business goals and strategic plans.
* Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, using data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
* Lead, coach, and supervise production team leaders and staff.
* Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to maintain seamless operations.
* Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management.
* Manage production budgets and control costs effectively.
* Drive employee engagement, training, and development programs.
* Champion operational excellence and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Key Qualifications:
* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or similar.
* Strong track record of building and sustaining high-performance teams.
* Demonstrated success in leading change and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma qualifications).
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field (preferred).
* Will accept expert industry related experience in lieu of Third level qualifications
