Job Description
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure understanding and adherence to all contract obligations by stakeholders.
You will be responsible for preparing detailed projected financial outcomes and valuation/cost reconciliations for contract control meetings. You will also liaise with other departments to provide controls to operate during the progress of contracts.
Additionally, you will prepare, submit, and agree on interim and final valuations with client representatives. You will also ensure that supplier agreements and sub-contracts are placed/managed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that all instructions received from client representatives are acted upon and all contract obligations are adhered to.
* Ensuring the company's interest is fully protected by contractual compliance.
* Organizing, in liaison with senior management, the preparation of contractual claims.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree qualification with ideally 10 years' experience in Quantity Surveying with a main contractor/subcontractor in Ireland or the UK.
Additional requirements include:
* Experience in the residential or commercial sector in Ireland or the UK.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Commercial and contractually aware.
* Ambitious and committed to delivering an excellent standard of work.
* Eligible to work in Ireland and have experience in Ireland/UK.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is circa €85k-€95k DOE, with a pension performance bonus.
